Undertail oder geiler Arsch

da ich mir auch schon überlegt habe, ein under tail zu montieren und noch unentschlossen bin welche Variante ich kaufen soll, fasse ich mal die Varianten zusammen:

1. F.S.D. bei TM

Kein richtiges Undertail, aber das Heck sieht sehr schön aus. Preis weiss ich nicht mehr, muss nochmals über die Grenze fahren und nachfragen.

ich hab vor ein paar jahren mit großem Aufwand die JMV Variante besorgen lassen. Der deutsche Importeur weigert sich Teile für Triumph zu importieren (zu geringe Stückzahlen), und das franz. Werk weigert sich an dich welche zu liefern, da es ja einen deutschen Importeur hat,.....

Das Teil ist recht hochwertig gefrtigt, das GFK-teil macht einen sehr soliden eindruck, die Lackierung paßt. Anbauteile wurden zumindest damals reichlich mitgeliefert.

Die Paßgenauigkeit ist recht gut, ich mußte nur geringfügig an Stellen nacharbeiten, die von aussen nicht zu sehen sind.

Bei schwarz lackierten Bikes würde ich heute aber auf ein komplettes undertray verzichten, und nur die Lücken zwischen Heckabdeckung, und originaler Kunststoffverkleidung abdecken. Bei den grünen, blauen, roten, orangenen, und gelben Varianten sieht ein lackiertes Teil aber auf jeden Fall besser aus.

Hi,

I'm also looking for a rear fender modification. I've decided to go for the one from Staedler. They told me I should get it from LSL. The LSL T595 cafe racer is where the part apparently originated from.

So I mailed LSL, but got no answer. Some time ago Kazhal was so friendly to contact LSL for me and they told him it costs 125 euro's. So I mailed LSL again to order the part, but again no answer. I even contacted the Belgian importer of LSL (which resides in Holland - I live in Belgium), and they tell me that their cafe racer only has a fender chop. So apparently they don't even know their own products. When I mailed them again with a picture included to make sure they understood what I meant I didn't get an answer anymore.

In short, I think they're not interested much in selling low number parts but are looking more towards the general parts like handlebars and parts for the Jap bikes.

In the meantime I'm looking for a way to get my hands on that part in Belgium but it's not easy. I'll probably have to drive over to LSL, anyone know if they really have a retail shop where you can buy these things or can you only order from the net?

I'll go to Städler today. I'll ask him about price, delivery time etc.

If the price is Ok, I will also go for this modification because I have

a black T509 and I agree with GerT that on a black one the complete undertail is not necessary.

I can tell you more tomorrow and if you like I order two pieces and send you one to Belgium.

Ich war vor ein paar Wochen bei Staedler in Widnau. Er sagte mir CHF 650 (Kurs EUR/CHF 1.46) für das Teil, fertig lackiert und montiert.

Hmm,

That's around 450 euro's. That's a lot of money. And a big difference to what LSL said of 125 euro. I hope that the price difference is just the mounting and the paintjob.
