Stekke Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 report Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 Hi, Came back from holiday a few days ago and my tires are worn till the edges (nice roads in the south of france ) So I'm looking for new tires. So far I had the Bridgestone BT56SS and the BT10. Didn't like the BT10 that much so I'm looking for other options. Any suggestions? A friend of mine has Dunlops (207 or 208) on his CBR600 and he's pretty pleased with them and they seem to last a lot longer than my Bridgestones (offcourse this might be because the CBR doesn't have that much torque). Is anybody running Dunlops on his Speed Triple? Other options I'm thinking about is th BT12 or Michelin Pilot Sports. I just don't know what to get. Suggestions welcome. Regards, Stekke. Zitieren
Yellowspeed Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 report Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 Hi Stekke I have Dunlop D207 on my Hummelchen(Daytona) and they have a lot of gripp, but they have only 1000 km . I think if they run 2000 km they are damaged. greetings Yellowspeed and Hummelchen Zitieren
tuxlin Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 report Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 (bearbeitet) Hi Stekke The Bt012 is a little bit better than/as the BT010 (more Grip) but i think the most of the T-riders prefer Metzler M1-Sportec, Pirelli Diablo, or Michellin Pilot Sport. It seems, that this are the best tyres at the moment if you prefer sport one`s (i do so). Touring or Sport-Touring e. g. Pilot-Raod or BT020, don`t have these good grip on wet and dry roads. I don`t know someone who drives/go on Dunlops, but may be you get an answer in your tread of some one who has tested it. with best regards yours sincerely Uwe Bearbeitet 7. mtb Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 report Geschrieben 7. Juli 2003 Hy Stekke if you looking for an eccellent tire try the new Pirelli Diablo Corsa. I use this tire round about 1.000 KM an the feeling for the street is absolut wonderfull. In comparing with the BT 56SS this tire is better by braking, by accelerate and that´s for me the most important thing, if you drive with hang on you have an wounderfull feeling for the bike and the street. Try him!! Best regards Mikel Zitieren
